About Vermont Nonprofit Pulse
Vermont Nonprofit Pulse (VNP) is a free, publicly accessible website that automatically collects news, events, volunteer opportunities, and fundraisers from Vermont nonprofit organizations — and makes them searchable by any Vermonter, organized by mission area, county, and town.
Vermont has thousands of nonprofits doing vital community work. Most of them communicate through newsletters, websites, and social media — but those communications reach only the people who already know to follow them. A family in Rutland looking to volunteer has no simple way to find what's happening across local nonprofits this week. A donor wanting to support environmental organizations in their county has no central place to look. Vermont Nonprofit Pulse fills that gap.
VNP is not a directory. It is a living, daily-updated feed of what Vermont nonprofits are actually doing right now — free for nonprofits to appear in, free for the public to use, requiring nothing from the organizations themselves.
How it works
Each day, our system checks participating nonprofits' own websites, Facebook pages, and calendars for new events, volunteer opportunities, fundraisers, and news — then organizes everything into one place, so you don't have to visit dozens of separate sites to find out what's happening.
Where we are today
We're in alpha — an early, actively growing stage. We currently cover Bikes & Pedestrian and Justice & Legal organizations, with many more mission areas planned as we expand across Vermont's nonprofit sector.

Vermont Nonprofit Pulse, Inc. is a Vermont nonprofit corporation, run by a small volunteer team.
